A pivotal moment for the sport

Amateur boxing was under intense scrutiny when World Boxing was formed, with the sport’s Olympic future hanging in the balance. The inaugural World Championships in Liverpool became a defining moment — an opportunity to present a fresh, credible vision for the sport on the world stage.

The city sets the tone

Few cities understand boxing like Liverpool. Its warmth, community pride and deep boxing heritage made it the ideal setting to welcome athletes and fans from around the world — and to signal a new chapter for the sport.

A championship with presence

‘Welcome to our corner' draws on the city’s culture and boxing legacy. Gold accents and a medal-inspired graphic device convey prestige, while a full brand toolkit brings consistency and confidence across every touchpoint.

Raising the bar for the sport

The identity gave the championships a clear and confident presence, moving away from tired boxing clichés and setting a new benchmark for how amateur boxing can appear on the global stage.
