Ideal Standard is an established manufacturer with deep European roots and a reputation for quality. But in a market increasingly driven by architectural storytelling and high-level specification, brand perception had become fragmented – caught between technical credibility and design aspiration. To become a true strategic partner to architects and specifiers, Ideal Standard needed to align global teams behind a sharpened differentiated positioning.

Ending the trade-off

The bathroom category is built on a false trade-off: the belief that a choice must be made between aesthetic design or technical performance. The simplified narrative reframes Ideal Standard as a leader, replacing inconsistent regional messaging with a unified global voice. A sharpened visual and verbal identity reflects a more confident, contemporary stance, while a reorganised product portfolio ensures every offering is expressed through the lens of performance. The result is a brand built for specification-led environments, prioritising integrated systems over isolated products.
