Team Talk: Shah Alam
Junior Creative, Shah Alam on starting out at Continuous.

1. What first drew you to Continuous?
I liked Continuous’ perspective on brands always evolving and working with big, established brands.
2. How would you describe your design style, and how has that evolved since you’ve been here?
I’m inspired by Swiss design – the clarity, the structure, the balance. I try to bring those principles into my own work: clean, functional, but still visually strong.
3. What’s been the biggest learning curve since joining?
Pushing each idea to the limit to create impactful work!
4. You recently led a ‘Lunch & Learn’ on Weavy. What inspired that session?
I enjoy learning new tools and finding faster, better ways of working and wanted to share how it could help streamline workflows and push creativity further. Weavy brings a lot of AI tools together in one place: from image and video to 3D and LLMs.

5. How does Continuous encourage you to explore and share ideas like that?
Having access to new tech and investing in exploration.
6. What do you enjoy most about working at Continuous?
The team’s great - lots of experienced people to learn from across strategy, client services, and creative.

7. What’s a recent piece of feedback that’s stayed with you?
In client presentations, defend each design choice with clear rationale, the way a lawyer would present evidence in court.
8. How do you keep your creativity topped up outside of work?
Gym and Football – Keeps me active physically and mentally and I love cooking, especially Italian and Bengali food.
9. Where do you see yourself growing next?
Constantly improving and learning to become a more well-rounded creative.
10. What excites you most about working in a creative agency right now?
Working with clients from diverse sectors keeps the work exciting and never boring.
When uncertainty and shifting expectations are the new normal, brands no longer need radical transformation. What’s needed is long-term thinking and the ability to adapt quickly.
Start with an email, and we’ll be in touch within 24 hours to organise a phone call, video chat, or face-to-face coffee – whatever works best for you.
